The new men’s shoe brand PERLIE will stir up the shoe market with its revolutionary new comfort technology. The brand offers chic men’s shoes and Chelsea boots with the comfort of a sneaker. Their innovative comfort technology includes a redesigned, patented outsole, a trainer footbed and trainer insole, an all-round soft, comfortable lining and a new, soft and particularly flexible inner leather. The result: chic shoes and Chelsea boots that are comfortable from the first moment and that you can wear all day long.

Since its recent launch, PERLIE has already sold shoes in 10 US states and 8 EU countries. Additionally, the shoes are available at retailers in the US, UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands, on their own international website, and through major platforms in the US and Europe. One of these platforms is the German fashion giant Zalando.

“Although Covid-19 has had a major impact on the footwear market, we are pleased with the progress we have made,” says Sep Breukers, CEO of the brand. “What we find very important is that our customers appreciate our product. We have customers who have already bought 6 pairs. That’s why we do it after all.” The fact that customers appreciate PERLIE shoes is also shown by the very low return rate of less than 10%. This is extremely low in the fashion industry, where return rates of up to 40% are not exceptional. “We even have customers who said they stopped wearing their €1,000 Italian shoes and only wear our brand. What a compliment!”

The shoes will be sold at a competitive price of 250 US dollars and around 200 euros in Europe. “We recently partnered with an American marketing agency to further grow our brand. We have also started working with some very nice and interested influencers in New York, UK and Germany. Our experience with influencers so far is excellent.” This year we aim to further expand our retail program and work with some of the big luxury department stores. “We welcome any partner who wants to work with us and we provide them with all the marketing materials they need to showcase our brand story while maximizing their profits. Working together should always be a win-win situation “, says the CEO.

Luxury shoe veteran Peter Beerens recently joined the brand as a coach. Previously, he was responsible for European sales for major brands such as Santoni, Church’s and Alden. “Peter’s knowledge is invaluable. He really is a giant in the luxury shoe business with a wealth of experience and contacts. Our collaboration is therefore a real win for PERLIE,” says Breukers.
