The moment son Xander saw a snake in the roof box, he decided to film. “We brought a snake!”, followed by a burst of laughter. “I swear, I swear,” he shouts to make it clear that he’s really not kidding.
The Katerberg family from Emmen unsuspectingly unpacked the roof box last night, after a holiday in Sweden. The black viper in question lay there. “He suddenly moved a bit to the right”, Xander looks back on the incident. “It was strange that he lay there like that, of course that doesn’t happen often.”
What do you do at such a moment. That also crossed his mind with 16-year-old Xander. “Now what? We called the animal ambulance and they came to pick him up.”
