The Beitostölen World Cup weekend ended with a mixed relay. Finland’s number one team was very strong, but could not reach the podium. Finland was fourth.

Norway’s second team skied to victory before the same country’s first team. Sweden was third.

Finland’s second team (Anne Kyllönen, Markus Vuorela, Jasmi Joensuu and Remi Lindholm) did well and finished sixth.

The acids froze Hyvärinen

Johanna Matintalo was in great shape in his opening leg. After a great weekend of skiing, Matintalo went to Norway together Anne Kjersti Kalvån with.

Finland and Norway entered the first exchange almost 15 seconds behind the group behind.

Perttu Hyvärinen went to measure his fitness Martin Nyengeti against. He got off to a strong start but was in deep trouble in the second lap. Hyvärinen froze. Finland finished in ninth place, 21.8 seconds behind Norway.

– Idiot award of the day for me. Total freezing. Acids, Hyvärinen lamented in an interview with Viaplay.

The third skier Kerttu Niskanen had to hit the bottom of the gas. It worked, because he caught up with the leading group in the second round. Swedish Frida Karlsson took charge when Norway Heidi Weng was content to follow in the pees.

Karlsson, Weng and the Norwegian second team Silje Theodorsen broke away from the others on the last long climb.

Niskanen dropped the anchor Joni Mäen off, when the difference to the top was 14 seconds, seven seconds to the podium. Mäki was able to keep France behind him and finished 45.5 seconds after the winner.
