Remco van Leen, the television boss of the NPO who succeeded Frans Klein. Frans Klein, who was suspended for turning a blind eye to the DWDD terror.
Groped and assaulted
What does Remco have up his sleeve again? “Dozens of women have indicated that they have been groped, assaulted and sexually intimidated by Remco,” Yvonne Coldeweijer said on her juice channel last weekend. “Yet the board knowingly appointed him. How is this possible?”
In other words: NPO boss Frederieke Leeflang seems to have looked away. And according to Tina Nijkamp, her position at the public broadcaster has already been jeopardized as a result.
Inactive
The NPO has now suspended him. There will be a ‘fact-finding investigation’. “Van Leen has indicated that he does not recognize the claims, but takes every signal very seriously. He will therefore fully cooperate with this factual investigation, which will be carried out by an independent party,” a spokesperson said.
Both Remco and the NPO said they were aware of one report alleging possible transgressive behavior during his work at the then TROS. “That report reached the NPO shortly after his appointment as acting Director of Video NPO. The NPO immediately took action.”

Anniko’s husband
What does Remco himself say about it? De Telegraaf reports that he categorically denied on Saturday: “This is complete nonsense.” Later that day that changed to: “I’m really feeling down right now and my head is in disarray.”
