Director and actor Tyler Perry finally tells what he talked to actor Will Smith at the Oscars right after the shock. According to Perry, he sought to calm the situation so that it would not escalate.

– There is a difference between reassurance and proactive intervention. I left in time to make sure Chris was okay. Friendship with both has been very challenging, Perry commented to the public.

According to the director, Chris Rock handled the situation well despite the shock that shocked him and the entire Oscar audience. Perry justifies Smith’s use of childhood trauma, though he doesn’t give the act justice in revealing a possible reason to defend his wife.

The shocking case has been commented on by many parties since March, and efforts have been made to explain Smith’s use. Perry suggests in his comments that Smith’s trauma erupted from the stimulus.
