The Kingdom Council of Ministers has approved two ambassadorial appointments at the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of Foreign Affairs. These are only final once the host countries have given their consent. The appointments will take effect from this summer.
The Kingdom Council of Ministers agreed to the appointment of ambassadors to the following posts:
- Costa Rica, based in San José: Arjen van den Berg, now Consul General of Hong Kong
- Cuba, based in Havana: Matthijs Wolters, now flexibly deployable ambassador in the TZ Flexpool.
