Dior is showing its fall collection at Ewha Womans University in Seoul.
This “celebrates the heritage of the house in one of the most vibrant cities and most prestigious universities in the world,” said the French fashion house on Friday. Dior chose the university because the fashion house and the educational institution share the same values.
“This year, the House forges strong new ties with the Republic of Korea. From our partnership with Ewha Womans University – as part of our Women@Dior program, which focuses on transmission, education and sisterhood – to the Dior Fall 2022 show in Seoul, we are more committed than ever to creative dialogue and cultural diversity committed,” says Dior CEO Pietro Beccari.
Designer Maria Grazia Chiuri’s collection, which will be shown in Seoul on April 30, is a “dialogue between the history of Dior and the ever-changing constellation that represents the contemporary world,” the statement reads.
