Two well-known TV titles have been downgraded by the NPO from the first to the second network: Opsporing Requested and Radar. Anniko van Santen’s ratings have taken a big hit and Antoinette Hertsenberg is now also having a hard time. She started yesterday on her new home network with 849 thousand viewers (14 percent market share).

Strongly lower

Joost Maiburg, reporter for RTL Boulevard, speaks in a analysis of a ‘significant’ drop, although he notes that Antoinette’s scores are not as bad as Anniko’s. “Where Opsporing Requested halved after the relegation from NPO1 to NPO 2, Radar is holding up a little better.”

Viewing figures professor Tina Nijkamp thinks the same way. She writes: “It is 500 to 700 thousand viewers less than before on NPO 1, but it is not a drama score like Opsporing Verzoeken. Do think that Antoinette and Fons will be a bit relieved.”

Dionne wins

Dionne Stax is now at the old location of Radar with her entertainment program Van Onschatbare Waarde. At the same time, she managed to fascinate twice as many viewers on NPO 1, namely 1.7 million (27 percent). And that while Antoinette still thought that Dionne would not be such a strong competitor and that she might win despite that relegation.

According to Tina, Antoinette will be annoyed when she looks at the ratings in the young target group. “Because that’s why they had to leave NPO 1: too old. But the difference between Dionne’s program and Radar turns out not to be big at all.
Van Onschatbare Waard scores old: 11.6 percent. Radar is only slightly below that with half viewers: 8.6.”

Omroep MAX boss Jan Slagter, Dionne’s employer, enjoys it: “Mrs Antoinette Hertsenberg recently acted a bit contemptuous about the program Van Onschatbare Waarde, they didn’t even know it. Maybe now ?.”

Most beautiful girl

The other most watched prime-time titles were NPO 1’s Het Mooiste Girl van de Klas (1 million), RTL 4’s Help Mijn Man Is Klusser (958 thousand) and SBS 6’s Today Inside (926 thousand).

The good score of Hunted VIPS is also striking. 797 thousand people (13 percent) watched it. And Family Gillis: Massa is Kassa? With 540 thousand viewers (19 percent), that soap almost falls out of the top 25 viewing figure.
