Diesel’s NFT collection brings the Metaverse phenomenon closer to its customers by combining the virtual layer with a wearable product. The NFTs are available until Thursday on the diesel platform D:Verse, as a live ticker shows.
There are a total of four NFTs to choose from – a Diesel logo, a shiny silver down jacket, a yellow fur coat and a sneaker. With every purchase of an NFT, customers also receive a physical product that gives their digital property real value. In addition, the NFTs provide access to exclusive events – both virtual and physical – including invites to Diesel’s SS23 fashion show, limited edition Diesel designs, and Metaverse apparel.
Diesel has created a step-by-step guide for consumers on how to buy NFTs. Through the NFT Collection, Diesel aims to create a new community, dubbed the D:Verse Community, that will engage members in long-term “meta-projects” and allow them to benefit from “D:Verse Family Privileges.” For example, the creation of an NFT opens the possibility for customers to exclusive discounts on pre-sales or access to ‘whitelists’, a process in which crypto wallets are pre-approved for NFT purchases.
