Die Toten Hosen live in Cologne 2022: Tickets, directions and weather

1982 is an eventful year. Helmut Kohl becomes the new Federal Chancellor, Argentina and Great Britain fight for the Falkland Islands – and the punk band ZK breaks up in Düsseldorf. The follow-up band is called: Die Toten Hosen. 40 years later they are celebrating their anniversary and touring through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. More than 600,000 tickets have already been sold, next stop: RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne on June 10th. We have all the information about the concert at a glance.

tickets

The stadium, normally the home of 1.FC Köln, has 50,000 seats. Due to the great interest, tickets are no longer available, but Hosen fans need not despair: the band will be making a stop at the Iga Park in Rostock on June 15th. Concert tickets are still available here.

arrival

The organizer is expecting fans from near and far, so we recommend that you arrive early. You can also easily reach the RheinEnergieStadion by public transport. It is best to use tram lines 1 and 7 of the Kölner Verkehrsbetriebe (KVB) or the S-Bahn lines S12 and S19. Very practical: Tram line 1 stops right at the RheinEnergieSTADION. Tram line 7 runs south of the RheinEnergieSTADION. You can walk to the RheinEnergieSTADION from the “Stüttgenhof” stop. Tip for everyone without a 9-euro ticket: the concert tickets are valid as bus and train tickets.

If you don’t like walking, you can also use a free shuttle service to reach the stadium. From the “Haus Vorst/Marsdorf” bus stop, a bus will take concert guests from 4 p.m. to the Südallee/Junkersdorf bus stop, near the stadium. There are 7,500 parking spaces around the stadium for anyone arriving by car.

weather

Summer is still a long time coming in Cologne, and a lukewarm concert evening without sunshine is expected. From 6 p.m. the temperature will reach a maximum of 22 degrees, the sky should be overcast. The temperature will drop later and patches of cloud can occasionally pass through. At around 16 degrees, slight gusts are to be expected in the evening.
