“Sky” expert Didi Hamann would not extend with BVB captain Reus “because the team works now”. The 33-year-old was absent from Borussia Dortmund at the beginning of the year due to illness.

Hamann, on the other hand, has a different opinion on Hummels’ sporting future. “I would think about extending him. He accepts the situation, comes in, takes over the captain’s armband, wins two incredibly important duels and cheers on,” said the 2002 vice world champion.
BVB sports director with Reus and Hummels “in exchange”
BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl commented on Hummels and Reus on Saturday in ZDF’s “Aktuelle Sportstudio”.
“I’m in contact with both the players and the advisors,” said the 43-year-old, revealing: “I think we’ll make useful decisions in the next few weeks. That doesn’t mean that we’ll make decisions in April or May will meet, but we will meet them sooner.”
