Diddy: Son Justin Combs is now being charged

The son of the US rapper has to go to court for drunk driving.

Diddy’s son Justin Combs has now been formally charged after he was arrested for drunk driving in early June 2023. Justin Combs’ mother also accuses Diddy of not fulfilling his responsibilities as a father.

According to Radar Online, the court documents show that Justin Combs was driving his car even though he had an alcohol content of 0.08 percent in his blood. The 29-year-old was noticed by the police because he drove through a red light in Beverly Hills. According to preliminary investigations on the spot, Diddy’s eldest son is said to have been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Sbail was $5,000 and Combs was also released from police custody.

Comb’s mother Misa Hylton commented on the Instagram story and appeared to be addressing rapper Diddy directly with her statement, whom she accuses of being responsible for the offspring’s behavior. She stated:

“The statement ‘The fish stinks from the head’ means that leadership is not only an important factor in the success of a family or business, but also the cause of its failure and downfall.”

Additionally, Hylton stated that she should have challenged UCLA’s custody ruling and claimed full custody of the son. Misa Hylton began dating Diddy when she was 15 years old. Shortly after the birth of their child, in 1995, they separated. They decided to share custody of Justin Combs at the time. In 2004, however, Hylton sued her ex-boyfriend for higher child support payments. According to their own statements, the former couple agreed and are now friends. It remains questionable to what extent this is currently still the case.

It is still unclear whether Justin Combs will be sentenced to prison for his crimes. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 10, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.
