– Dear Sir/Madam, begins an e-mail message that looks quite similar to the Suomi.fi service.

In addition to logos and correct language, what makes a scam message particularly cunning is the content, which warns the recipient of a scam.

– Our recent investigations have revealed that your Suomi.fi service is involved in fraudulent activities and that a third party may be using your services.

The recipient is asked to click on the hyperlink and confirm their information so that the service access rights can be restored.

– Once we have confirmed your information, you will receive a call from us as soon as possible and full access to your account will be restored.

The message is signed “Suomi.fi”.

In reality, the messages sent by the Suomi.fi service never contain links. You can always check the messages by logging into the pages.
