Aira Samulin’s blessing ceremony was held today, Friday, December 1, in Helsinki’s Old Church. The coffin was carried from the church to the car, which is currently heading towards the Hietaniemi cemetery.
The coffin bearers walked down the steps of the church with the funeral procession behind them. A crowd gathered on the steps of the church as the coffin was lifted into the car.
One of the pallbearers was holding Aira Samulin’s bright pink hat all the time.

Samulin’s memorial service will be held at the corner of Bulla. The memorial service is intended for invited guests only.
