A lightly smoked meal of salmon and tomatoes arrives at the table from the regular grill. Behind the taste is a very handy grill accessory, i.e. a smoking plank. The smoking plank is one of my absolute favorite gas grill accessories purchased. A plank or board is a piece of wood, usually cedar or beech, and the food is cooked on the grill on top of it.
