The dining table of the Sievisten family is the handiwork of actor Timo Jurka.
Secret lives – series character Lasse Sievinen is known for his nationally famous elk roast, which the whole family gathers regularly to eat around the big dining table.
However, few people know that the one who plays Lasse Timo Jurkka has built the table in question himself.
Jurkka originally built the table for his own home according to the measurements. In the end, however, the table turned out to be too big for the space intended for it.

The table is a whopping three and a half meters long with its extension pieces.
– It is here on loan, Jurkka says in an interview with Iltalehti.
Jurkka has already made another dining table for her own kitchen.

Clever with his hands, Jurka has bigger projects behind him. Last summer, he built a small addition to his cabin.
The family’s 170-square-meter detached house was also largely built by Jurka. For the prefab house, Jurkka made the upper floor, the terraces and the wing building himself.
Five years passed in the construction project of the house.
– The yard work took quite a bit of time, about a couple of years, the actor recalls.
