Over the years The Simpsons-animated series has been suspected of “predicting” many significant events in the world. Now viewers have realized the similarities between one episode and the disappearance of the Titan submarine.

A submarine en route to the wreck of the Titanic disappeared on Sunday, and the search operation has been closely monitored. In a 2016 episode of The Simpsons, Homer Simpson goes on a submarine expedition with his long-lost father. However, Homer gets lost and gets stuck at the bottom of the sea.

At this point, Homer is trying to get out of the submarine and a low oxygen warning appears on the control panel. Eventually, Homer gets free but loses consciousness in the submarine. Later in the episode, he wakes up from the hospital.
