A comment was heard on Viaplay’s skiing broadcast on Saturday, which could be interpreted as a nod to the company. The statement was thrown by the narrator Jussi Eskolawhen he commented on the Christmas-themed interlude of the broadcast.

Norway’s star skier Johannes Kläbo revealed on Viaplay that he had received the package From Iivo Niskas. Or at least that’s what it said on the package.

– I saw a package in my mailbox. It read “Johannes Iivota.” I only saw the package on Thursday, and I haven’t had time to open it yet. We have to take a look at what’s inside, comments Kläbo.

But was the package from Niskas or someone else? Viaplay’s broadcast also said that the narrator Jussi Eskola and expert Sami Jauhojärvi had distributed Christmas packages around Trondheim, Norway.

The cameras filmed the sign with Kläbon and spouse written on it Pernille Dösvik the names. After that, Jauhojärvi, wearing an elf hat, dropped the package in the mailbox.

– They have been Santa’s helpers. As you know, the buck doesn’t necessarily go to every place every moment. For that, the elves are preparing a lot of tricks for the goat for the upcoming Christmas Eve, Jauhojärvi explained the events.

According to Eskola, the duo spent the whole evening handing out packages to former and current skiers.

At the same time, the narrator threw a strict receipt, referring to Viaplay’s miserable financial situation.

– We also have such a thing that it’s good to look at other jobs as well. You never know when the departure will come, Eskola laughed.

Viaplay is on the verge of bankruptcy. This weekend, the skiing world cup will be held in Trondheim.
