According to the Federal Statistical Office, a child costs an average of 148,000 euros from birth to adulthood. Although child benefit, parental benefit, maternity benefit, etc. reduce the costs by about half, there is still a lot of money.

In our previous question of the day, we wanted to know from you: Are too many Berlin sidewalks broken? 90 percent of the participants say “Yes, there is an urgent need for renovation”. Only 8 percent of the participants said no. They “actually never” stumble, and 2 percent rarely walk enough to notice.
