Toronto star pack Morgan Rielly has been banned for five games for his sloppiness.

The man captured Ottawa on Saturday Ridly Greig with a cross stick to the head, when the 21-year-old attacker had inked the puck into the empty goal in a terrible heat.

According to the Toronto gamblers, Rielly did exactly the right thing, but according to the discipline, the trick is not part of the sport. The defender’s blow to Greig’s head was deemed to be forceful and deliberate.

Rielly will receive a salary of 7.5 million dollars for this season. With the ban, he will lose $195,312 of the amount.

It was the first time Rielly was suspended during his 11-year NHL career. The man had collected only eight minutes of ice time this season before the “revenge attack”.

This season only David Perron (six games) has received a longer suspension in the NHL than Rielly now. He has also sat on the bench for five matches Brendan Gallagher.
