Bastiaan Ragas must have been shocked when he heard that one of the Shownieuws stars was caught with his pants around his ankles. Or not? Did he confront his wife Tooske?
Airen Mylene revealed in the spring that a heated incident took place in a Talpa cupboard at a Shownieuws party. Two colleagues have been caught ricocheting, including one in the ‘presenter’ category, she revealed. At one point all eyes were on Tooske Ragas, but in the end it turned out to be Bram Moszkowicz.
Bastiaan responds
The rumor flow lasted for months at the time and many colleagues were therefore furious with Airen; Patty Brard even lashed out at her so hard that there were calls for a suspension. Wasn’t Bastiaan Ragas nervous? Wasn’t he afraid that his own Tooske would have been caught in that Talpa cupboard?
Bas is asked about it in the Weekend. “That was very interesting for some people. That story really doesn’t interest me one bit.”
‘Serious?!’
When asked whether he had not asked his wife whether it might be her, Bastiaan responded ‘laughing loudly’: “Seriously? Haha! If I had to question every gossip, joke and backbite over the past 30 years… No! That’s not how I look at the world, and neither does Tooske.”
Wasn’t there any discussion about it? “There is talk about a closet. If your marriage depends on checking gossip, something else is going on.”
Balance
Are Bastiaan and Tooske still in a happy marriage? Do they have time for each other? “I work three or four days a week and Toos too. We try to stay awake in the evening when the other comes home and have breakfast together or walk the dog. We try to spend as much time together as possible.”
He concludes: “On the other hand: we have been together for 20 years, it is also healthy to give and grant each other space. It’s a balance. I think we both thrive on freedom, but with enough attention for each other.”
Freedom happiness? Would Toos have been in that closet after all? WITH BRAM?!
