Did Chris Brown rape a woman?

Chris Brown faces rape allegations in new court case The singer is said to have drugged and then raped a woman. The incident is said to have happened on a yacht that was said to have docked in front of the US rapper Diddy’s property at the time of the crime.

The alleged victim, a professional choreographer, singer and dancer, alleges that Brown lured her onto the yacht via FaceTime on December 30, 2020 and then mixed anesthetic in her drink. Shortly thereafter, she noticed an abrupt change in her consciousness.

Court documents show that Brown then gave her another drink, further destabilizing the woman’s condition. She felt disoriented and kept falling asleep. Brown then led her into a bedroom and raped her there, despite begging him to stop.

If the court sees the allegations as justified, the rapper could also be financially expensive. The woman is also suing him for $20 million in damages for the severe emotional distress that the crime caused.

Chris Brown has previously been sentenced to five years in prison after his ex-girlfriend Rihanna charged him with assault.
