Did Bushido and Animus fall out?

Born in the southern German student city of Heidelberg, the rapper Animus has been under contract with Bushido’s label “Ersguterjunge” since 2019. Together they released the collaboration album CARLOS COKXX NUTTEN 4 in the same year. At that time, Animus was one of the last German rap greats who still stuck by him after Bushido worked with the police. But now there are rumors that Animus and Bushido have also fallen out and could go their separate ways in the future.

According to the Twitch streamer and brother of rapper Bass Sultan Hengzt, Gino Cazino, a dispute between Bushido and Animus about allegedly non-flowing money is said to have broken out. When asked about Animus, Gino Cazino wrote on Twitter: “Reported to Hengzt. There was a real argument in the EGJ [Ersguterjunge] Warehouse. He should not have received any payment. A musical answer is coming soon”.

Gino Cazino repeats rumors in the live stream with Fler

Gino Cazino repeated these rumors in a joint stream with the South Berlin rapper Fler. There, Gino Cazino addresses the topic himself, but says in the same breath that he only wants to talk about it “undercover” and that the rumor “shouldn’t make the rounds”. A logic error that even Fler noticed: “Nothing is undercover anymore, we are live!”. But that doesn’t seem to bother Gino Cazino at all, at least he’s repeating the rumor in full. Fler jumps visibly on the “exclusive news” and yells into the microphone: “Bushido, pay your debts to Animus!”.

What are the rumors about Bushido and Animus?

But are the rumors even true? Animus has largely disappeared from the scene since his solo album BEASTMODE 4, which was released in April 2021. Not only has the rapper stopped releasing new music, but he’s also taken to social media. Animus has probably been in Dubai for the past few months to start an unspecified “business”. He also runs a hair pigmentation studio in Wiesbaden. It is all the more surprising that Animus has actually commented on the rumors in the meantime. According to him, there is nothing wrong with them: “I fuck the mother of whoever makes up lies about me and the mother of whoever tells lies about me. And now let me continue to enjoy my abstinence. Thanks. Over & End.”

Dispute between Fler and the EGJ camp

Fler probably felt addressed by this. He also countered on social media as follows: “You fuck nothing but your hand at the bus stop in Dubai!” What actually happened to the rumors remains unclear. On the one hand they don’t seem completely implausible, on the other hand it is also obvious that Fler has an interest in making Bushido appear in a bad light. After all, Fler on the one hand and Bushido and Animus on the other have been stressed out for a long time.

On the track “Ronin”, which was released as video decoupling in the run-up to CARLOS COKXX NUTTEN 4, Animus shoots against Fler in a somewhat secret way: “It’s embarrassing when the interviews have more clicks than your songs,” it says there. A line that alludes to the numerous well-clicked interviews by Fler. on the track EGJ From his album BEASTMODE 4, Animus becomes even clearer: “Let me say: ‘Fler is just a son of a bitch'”.
