Schreuder was promoted to the Eredivisie with PEC Zwolle this season. The club also failed to win the title. That went to Heracles Almelo.

Schreuder was not the only winner on Wednesday evening. Ruben van Bommel (MVV) was named best talent, Michael Brouwer (Heracles Almelo) best keeper and Lennart Thy (PEC Zwolle) top scorer. Thomas van den Belt, next year’s player for Feyenoord, was voted player of the year.
