The price of the evening dress is estimated to go up to 120,000 dollars. The silk velvet purple creation last sold for $24,150 at a charity auction in 1997. Diana donated a total of 79 of her outfits to the sale to raise money for AIDS and cancer organizations, and in total, they raised $3.25 million. Over the years, the evening dress has become a very valuable collector’s rarity.
