Beyoncé is visibly touched and thanked, among other things, with the words: “My soul is full, I’m so grateful!”

On Monday (September 4th) Beyoncé celebrated her 42nd birthday. The date coincided exactly with their third and final “Renaissance” tour concert at SoFi Stadium in California. And so it happened that the musician celebrated her big day with 60,000 fans in a sold-out concert hall and there were also a lot of celebrities there.

Featuring: Zendaya and Tom Holland, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Chris Rock, Adele, Lizzo, Katy Perry, Kate Hudson, Normani, Brandy, Kim and Khloé Kardashian. Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were also in attendance and were spotted together in the VIP tiers. And on stage there was also a birthday surprise for Queen B by Diana Ross.

Late in the evening, Diana Ross took the stage as the surprise act for Beyoncé’s third SoFi gig. First the legendary singer performed her hit “Love Hangover” – then she started a birthday song, which the audience joined in. She held Beyoncé’s hand the whole time and visibly touched her with her insert.

Even before Beyoncé performed her song “Flaws and All,” she also expressed her gratitude to family and fans: “My soul is filled. I’m so grateful, I’m trying not to cry,” the singer said with tears in her eyes. “I’m thankful to be alive. I’m thankful to be on stage. I’m grateful to be able to look around and see your faces. I am grateful to be able to provide a safe space for all of you. I am grateful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music, which then heals you all.”

Beyoncé continued, “I’m grateful for every tear, for every year. I am thankful for my children. I am thankful for my husband. I’m thankful for all the crap we’ve been through. I am thankful for my wonderful father who is here tonight. I thank you for your sacrifice, for your pain. I am grateful for my mother, my beautiful queen. I am thankful that we all have the ability to make lemonade out of our lemons.”

She also expressed her love and gratitude to her former band, Destiny’s Child: “I’m grateful for Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Robertson. I am thankful for all those who have been by my side since 1997. […] Thank you for being here at the fucking 42 years old. I am grateful for joy and I thank God. Thank you God.”
