Diana Brajkovic is leaving Marc Cain after 22 years

Diana Brajkovic is leaving Marc Cain after more than 22 years.

Brajkovic, who most recently worked as general sales manager, has left Marc Cain, as the Bodelshausen-based fashion company announced on Thursday. The industry magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on the change in management.

According to the industry magazine, Brajkovic, who worked in Bodelshausen for over 20 years, left the company at her own request. Before her time as managing director, she was responsible for overall sales as Director Sales alongside Dirk Büscher. When Marc Cain separated from his former managing director Frank Rheinboldt, who was in charge of overall sales, marketing and design, in 2020, Brajkovic and Dirk Büscher took over overall sales as Director Sales. In 2021, both were promoted to management.

Looking for a successor for Schlotterer

Most recently, Marc Cain’s management consisted of company founder Helmut Schlotterer, Brajkovic as managing director of overall sales and logistics and Büscher, managing director of sales and logistics. According to the textile industry, Brajkovic’s position will not be filled in this form.

Rather, as part of a transfer of the company to an employee foundation announced in July, Schlotterer is looking for a managing director to succeed him as soon as the founder retires. The first discussions should therefore already be held and a solution “is envisaged in the medium term”.
