Discus thrower Kristin Pudenz again ensured a good German placement at the Diamond League meeting in Paris.
With a jump of 64.39 meters, the Olympic silver medalist finished third. As last time, the Potsdamer only had to admit defeat to the Tokyo Olympic champion Valarie Allman (USA/68.68) and the Croatian double Olympic champion Sandra Perkovic (68.19).
Strong form before the World Cup
Pudenz confirmed her last strong form almost a month before the World Championships in Eugene. At the previous Diamond League competitions in Eugene and Oslo, she had thrown the third best distance.

Treble victory for Ukraine
