Germany is fighting for a place in the final. A tough challenge awaits against France. Who will prevail? The live ticker for the semi-finals of the Handball World Cup.

The German women’s national team is in the semi-finals of the Handball World Cup. In Rotterdam the team will face defending champions France. The DHB selection is combative. The big dream of the final is alive.

17th minute: In the next attack, Kanor prevailed strongly and made it 10:7. At the back, France changed the goalkeeper. André is now guarding the goal. Behrend comes to the throw from the right wing, but misses the box. In return, Grandveau scores and the score is only 10:8.

15th minute: Now France can reduce the lead to 8:6, but Germany also scores again through Döll. Foppa is free to throw on the other side, but the shot goes well over the crossbar. On the other hand, Antl is released at the circle and scores to make it 10:6. France’s coach has seen enough and calls a timeout.

14th minute: On the other hand, Vogel takes a throw from the backcourt and heaves the ball into the net to make it 6:4. But Foppa doesn’t hesitate for long either and immediately reduces France’s lead to 6:5. Germany appears unimpressed. Leuchter gets the ball on the half-right, turns away from her opponent and nets to make it 7:5. France has problems here now. Again Grandveau takes a throw and fails again because of Filter! In return, Vogel initially fails because of Sako, but Döll is alert, grabs the rebound and increases the score to 8:5.

11th minute: Grandveau fails with an attempt at Filter, but the ball goes out of touch and France remains in possession. Ranier is released, but Filter is there again! On the other hand, the DHB selection plays Döll on the left wing and makes it 5:4. France tries a Kempa trick, but it fails.

9th minute: On the defensive, Vogel attacks the Frenchwoman Granier and has to sit on the bench for two minutes. France finds Bouktit in the circle, which makes it 4:3. On the other side, Kühne is fouled while throwing and is awarded seven meters. Döll stays safe and converts to 4:4.

7th minute: Now the French also close their defense and when time is called for, the throw has to come from the backcourt, but it is parried by Sako. In the counterattack, Dury scores to make it 3-2 for France. Germany makes a technical error through Döll and immediately gives the ball back. However, their pass to the circle was unsuccessful and Leuchter was able to equalize to make it 3-3.

5th minute: Filter prevented the French from equalizing with a strong save, but Leuchter also failed from a distance on the other side against France’s goalkeeper Sako. France has to look longer for the gap again, but then they make it 2-2 through Grandveau.
