Cologne, January 18, 2022: The LIMES Schlosskliniken Group was able to record positive business development in the 2021 financial year. Without the consolidation of the acquired Swiss clinic Paracelsus Recovery Group, LIMES Schlosskliniken were able to increase sales to EUR 16.9 million (+ 51%) and generate positive operating earnings before interest and depreciation (EBITDA) of EUR 5,394 thousand. The operating profit before interest (EBIT) amounts to EUR 3,505 thousand. The consolidated profit before taxes will be EUR 3,284 thousand. The business figures include EUR 641,000 in depreciation for the start-up of business operations. The use of loss carryforwards only results in a minimum taxation.

For 2022, including the consolidation of the Paracelsus Recovery Group, we expect sales of EUR 27.0 million (+ 60%). The operating result (EBITDA) should amount to approx. EUR 7.6 million. We expect an operating result (EBIT) of EUR 5.4 million. The start-up losses for the new “LIMES Schlossklinik Bergisches Land” clinic in the amount of EUR 1.3 million have already been taken into account in the planning estimates for the 2022 financial year. The commissioning of the new clinic is planned for September 1st, 2022. After a certain start-up phase, we expect additional sales of EUR 18.0 million with a capacity utilization of 80%.
