DFL terminates game days until February: RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart open second half of the season

1st and 2nd league scheduled at the exact time

The capital city derby between 1. FC Union Berlin and Hertha BSC will take place on the first round of the second half of the Bundesliga matchday at 3.30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, January 28th. The second half of the season will begin the evening before at 8.30 p.m. between RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart. The German Football League (DFL) has scheduled the matchdays until the beginning of February in the Oberhaus (17-19) and in the 2nd Bundesliga (18-19) on Thursday.

Other top games will take place during this period, for example on matchday 17 between Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt – Saturday, January 28 at 6.30 p.m. – or between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Schalke 04 on Saturday, February 4 (6.30 p.m.).

In the 2nd division there are duels between Fortuna Düsseldorf and 1. FC Magdeburg as well as between Karlsruher SC and SC Paderborn 07 at the start of the second half of the season (January 27, 6:30 p.m.). The northern duels of FC St. Pauli against Hannover 96 and Hansa Rostock against Hamburger SV will take place in parallel on the 19th matchday on Sunday afternoon (February 5th) at 1.30 p.m.
