DFB women test twice around Easter

Hardly any time to hunt for eggs: Around Easter, the German soccer players are intensifying their preparation for the World Cup finals in Australia and New Zealand (July 20th to August 20th).

On Good Friday (April 7th/8:00 p.m.) the Vice European Champion will play against the former European Champion Netherlands in Sittard.

Four days later, the DFB women in Nuremberg will be playing “another top-class opponent”. Specifically, the German Football Association (DFB) did not want to become the second opponent on Monday.

“After Sweden, the Netherlands is another top-class player on the way to the World Cup,” said national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg, whose protégés had to be content with a 0-0 draw against the Swedes at the start of the World Cup two weeks ago: “We want to go with them After the two international matches in April, we will take the next steps in preparation for the World Cup in the summer.”
