Jamie Leweling missed relegation with Greuther Fürth. But the talented winger remains in the Bundesliga. For him it’s off to the capital.

Jamie Leweling is about to move to Union Berlin. The “Kicker” reports a transfer fee of four million euros. “Sport Bild” and “Sport1” had also reported on the interest of the people from Köpenick.

Leweling comes from the Bundesliga relegated Greuther Fürth and becomes the record transfer of the cloverleaf. So far, Anton Stach was Fürth’s most expensive sale at 3.5 million euros.

U21 national player Leweling convinces with a lot of speed and versatility in attack. The 21-year-old can be used on both flanks as well as in the center of the attack and can thus play a role in various positions in the Köpenickers’ 5-3-2 system.
