DFB star Timo Werner is thinking about changing clubs

Timo Werner has been chasing goals for Chelsea since the summer of 2020. Whether that will also be the case in the upcoming Premier League season is uncertain.

National player Timo Werner apparently no longer rules out a departure from the English giants FC Chelsea. “I could be happy anywhere,” said the 26-year-old on the Blues’ US tour when asked if he could be happy at Chelsea next season. In the past Premier League season, Werner mostly came off the bench and only scored four goals.

The World Cup in Qatar (November 21 to December 18) could also be a reason for any thoughts of a change. “It’s clear that I want to play more and I should play more to be in good shape for the World Cup and have a chance to play at the World Cup,” said Werner. The striker moved from RB Leipzig to London in 2020 for 53 million euros.
