Frankfurt/Main (dpa) – The German national team plays their home games in the Nations League in Munich, Mönchengladbach and Leipzig.
The German Football Association announced the corresponding timetable for the 2022 World Cup. The selection of national coach Hansi Flick meets England on June 7th in the Allianz Arena in Munich, on June 14th the game against European champions Italy in Mönchengladbach. On September 23, Germany will play against Hungary in Leipzig. The opening game in the Nations League for the DFB team takes place on June 4th away in Bologna against Italy.
The opponents in the World Cup year have already been determined – the DFB selection will start with friendly matches in Sinsheim against Israel on March 26 and three days later in Amsterdam against the Netherlands before the first Nations League games are due in June. The World Cup finals will be played in Qatar from November 21st to December 18th.
