DFB goalkeeper number 1
DFB goalkeeper Bernd Leno has extended his contract with FC Fulham by two years. The 31-year-old signed a new working paper until June 30, 2027 with an option for another season. Leno moved to Fulham for 3.6 million euros in the summer of 2022 after four years at Arsenal. As number one, he has played 53 games for the “Cottagers” to date, in which he has not conceded a goal 13 times.
“I found out about the club’s offer during the last international break and it didn’t take long because I think all parties were very happy with it,” explained Leno. “I immediately said that I wanted to stay here longer. I’m very happy about that and the club’s long-term plans. I feel like I still have many good years ahead of me and I hope that I can give something back to the club, the fans, the team and everyone at the club so that we can be even more successful.”
