After last week’s excitement about the destruction of the turf in Dessau, the Ottensen vs. RBL cup match is finally taking place today – in Leipzig. RB coach Tedesco announced some changes. A previous RBL attacker will definitely not be in the squad.

For the Ottensen game, Tedesco promised “a mix of players” and explained that he was concerned about the rhythm in the regular squad, fitness regulation and playing time for dissatisfied players: “There are players who have played and need a rhythm. They are in a good mood, but could be even better if they have rhythm, who’ve played enough but maybe have a few injuries. Then we have players we’d like to see.”

Alexander Sörloth will definitely not be in the squad: The Norwegian striker is leaving RB Leipzig again.
