Unfortunately, there will probably be quite a crash around the game Leipzig – Frankfurt. With the fan camps, I’m afraid it will be uncomfortable.

But it’s good that Makkabi Berlin doesn’t have to face a club with such fan bases as Lok (even if that’s not possible in the constellation) or Hansa.

But it’s against a team that is in the 1st division and has some great players, which is why it will be an experience for the Makkabi players.

However, due to the low level of fan support from Wolfsburg, it is likely to be less of an experience in terms of mood.

If the Olympic Stadium isn’t the scene of the game, then we and the Berliners will get the whole thing, I bet.

Also think that you will get the Jungfernheide sports facilities almost full smile

Honestly? Three things are important to me:

1. All supporters of Makkabi and us should get a place if they want. There will be enough interested parties on both sides.

2. A nice, fair game on and off the field. It doesn’t matter how it ends in the end.

3. That enough money gets stuck with Maccabi. Like many other clubs, VfL likes to waive the money it is entitled to in favor of the host amateur club, here that would be a particularly important part. I think it would also be up to the nominal capacity of the stadium if seats remain empty. For us peanuts, for Makkabi essential to be able to continue the great work there.

If it’s time for me, I’ll go there myself. A little trip around the world from the Belgian border/Eifel, but Makkabi was my ideal opponent given the history of both clubs – Wolfsburg is anecdotally mocked as “*****s last victory” because the British occupation authorities waved the city name through, although he could refer to ***** personally (that was never completely clarified mW.) – Now playing against a club that was banned at the time, its players and members suffering from the climate poisoned by hate and hate speech and the regime of terror that wanted to make Wolfsburg the model location for Aryan-German automobile creativity and killed millions of people is a further step towards defeating history. Breaking new ground and not forgetting what was there, what suffering there was and where we come from, what was necessary so that we can now simply travel through the republic and watch football games with players from all over the world.

The colorful, democratic, cosmopolitan and free Germany and the city of Wolfsburg, which benefited enormously from this development thanks to Volkswagen, won. The winner was Makkabi, who today, despite hate and hatred in amateur sports, is well on the way to regaining its old strength and is taking many children, young people and adults with it, regardless of nationality, skin color or religion. “Football unites!” is one of the mottos that one likes to throw out when it comes to exactly such problems – I hope that this game, Makkabi’s participation in the DFB Cup overall, this motto and the achievements that led to her in Berlin and throughout Germany have, comes to the fore. What if there are only 500 of our fans there? Who cares! We manage to create an atmosphere that everyone involved likes to remember!

I understand your comment and I agree. The last paragraph is indeed a pious wish, goes gg right, but not the lived reality and only half the truth. Please don’t misunderstand me, but if you say something like that, then you shouldn’t emphasize the right edge and condemn: No, you should/should do the same with other anti-Semitic groups! It’s often mentioned in the media and hardly or not at all in politics, but it exists, especially in Berlin. Shameful, but if you say that, you are right-wing/xenophobic or similar.
But this arab./pro palestin. Groups are worth mentioning and condemning as well, which is what I’m doing here! People like that don’t belong in Berlin, Germany and/or football.

And you can see that on the street and on the square. This is an almost everyday problem in (amateur) football.

One should not make the mistake of being blind in one eye!

Just a well-intentioned hint, no offense @Tara_noastra
