Pole vaulter Sarah Vogel will act as the lottery fairy, while DFB President Bernd Neuendorf will act as draw manager.
There will be two pots in the draw:
- In one pot are all first and the 14 best second division teams of the past season
- All other clubs end up in pot two and enjoy home rights
