After the national team’s embarrassing 4-1 defeat against Japan, national coach Hansi Flick is threatened with elimination. However, there is apparently no quick reaction from the German Football Association (DFB).
According to “SID” information, national coach Hansi Flick will lead the public training session on Sunday morning (11:00 a.m.) in Wolfsburg despite the embarrassment of the German national soccer team against Japan.
3,500 spectators are expected at the session, which has been planned for some time. At the start of the European Championship season, the DFB selection experienced a 1:4 (1:2) debacle on Saturday. Since then, there has been intense speculation about Flick’s future.
On Tuesday (9:00 p.m./ARD) the four-time world champions will face France in Dortmund. Flick’s contract runs until the home European Championships in 2024.
The DFB team has only won four of the last 17 international matches. After the World Cup debacle in Qatar, they only managed one win in six matches.
