The death of Brith Roelstraete from Desselgem, avid diver and volunteer firefighter, hit like a bomb. The 42-year-old man suffered a stroke in the water on Thursday evening while taking a test to obtain a higher diving diploma. Friends of the club helped resuscitate him. “We sometimes clashed with Brith, but we actually had a good relationship,” says his mother.
