A stolen car collided with a police van on Laan van Henegouwen in Roosendaal on Wednesday afternoon. The car then crashed into a parked car and a stone wall. The devastation is great on the road. The driver has been arrested.
Officers first saw the car driving on Kalsdonksestraat. The car was reported as stolen. When the police signaled the driver to stop, the driver drove away at high speed.
Several police cars were deployed during the chase. On Laan van Henegouwen, the driver eventually collided with a police van, after which the wall and another car were hit.
The police have cordoned off the area and are investigating.
