The radio journalist Andreas Wagner has been elected the new President of the German Ice Skating Union. At the extraordinary general meeting in Dortmund, the former ice dancer Daniel Hermann and the engineer Thomas Rücker were appointed as his vice presidents.
The 62-year-old Wagner replaces Dieter Hillebrand, who was President of the DEU for 16 years. The new presidency came up for election as a team of three. There were no other candidates.
