A video has surfaced in which MR chairman Georges-Louis Bouchez and his girlfriend Lucie Demaret are involved in a fierce discussion with cyclists on Lippenslaan in Knokke. Bouchez gets a push, but doesn’t push back. Bouchez’s girlfriend loses her temper and shouts ‘dirty Flemings’. “They had first said that we were ‘dirty Walloons’ and had to go back to Wallonia,” says Bouchez. Demaret now also reacts herself and apologizes to the Flemish people.
