Despite a bad image, Linda de Mol still passes Chantal Janzen

Despite her bad image, Linda de Mol, who recently received another blow when she was caught with Jeroen Rietbergen, still manages to beat Chantal Janzen. “It’s 1-0!”

Battered image or not: Linda de Mol continues to score top scores with her show Postcode Lottery: Miljoenenjacht. The new season of her program started yesterday with more than 1.3 million viewers, good for a 24 percent market share on home channel SBS 6. And with that, she was the big winner on prime time.

Linda beats Chantal

Linda managed to captivate many more viewers than competitor Chantal Janzen, who scored 883 thousand viewers (16 percent) on RTL 4 with Beat the Champions. With that, she also had to watch NPO 2’s Langs de Nieuwe Zijderoute (943 thousand and 16 percent) and NPO 1’s Letting the Nieuwe Vermeer (938 thousand and 16 percent) take precedence.

What does Tina Nijkamp say about it? The ratings queen on her analysis channel: “Chantal loses to Linda in the totals, but wins in the commercial target group 20 to 54 years with a market share of 22 versus 19 percent. Time and time again Chantal proves to be very popular with younger viewers, Linda, given the numbers, has many older fans.”

Dionne collapses

The increased competition means that Dionne loses a lot of viewers with De Nieuwe Vermeer. “This program has a huge ratings hit and loses a quarter of the viewers. It comes in under a million for the first time. And to make it even worse: NPO 2 has more viewers with the new route TV program Along the New Silk Road.”

This is a program by Ruben Terlou and the controversial Jelle Brandt Corstius. “Great figures for Jelle’s comeback on TV.”

Wendy also scores

At half past nine, SBS 6 was also the big winner: Who of the Three with Wendy van Dijk scored 925 thousand viewers (21 percent), while NPO 1’s Real Life in the Zoo got stuck at 874 thousand viewers (19 percent) and RTL 4 with Humberto on Sunday attracted 461 thousand viewers (11 percent).

Tina: “So that is FINALLY, after the flops Wie Kent Nederland, Liedje op het Eerste Schakel and Ministars, once again good viewing news for Wendy.”
