Design Week will also be perfect for discover new boutiques. In a historic building in Piazza della Scala, Fendi Casa has recently inaugurated the first Milanese flagship store: 13 windows and 700 square meters host the day, night, kitchen and garden collections, as well as a wide selection of objects and accessories (including the new line of carpets). Many projects exhibited during the Salone designed by world-famous architects and designers, called to collaborate by Silvia Venturini Fendi: like the “Welcome” sofa by Chiara Andreatti in wood and bouclé fabric or the “Cloe” chair by Studio Marcel Wandersin solid smoked oak (note to connoisseurs: the optical effect created on the edges by its leather shell evokes the iconic Fendi “Pequin” striped pattern).

Kaleidoscopic vision, however, for the two first boutiques dedicated to the world of Dolce & Gabbana furnishings. A panoramic tour among cheerful themes of our tradition, crossing colorful collections launched in Venice last year to celebrate Italian craftsmanship: from “Blu Mediterraneo” to “Leopardo”, but also “Zebra” and “Sicilian cart”. Colorful decorations that conquer important shapes such as large fabric sofas, oak tables or bar furniture, created in partnership with LuxuryLiving Group and exhibited in the space in via Durini. Inspirations that come back even among the simplest furnishing accessories in the new address of Corso Venezia: cexits and quilts, Murano glass glasses and Sicilian ceramic plates, scented candles or tea and coffee sets. In short, not just shoes and bags: even our home can change its look in an instant, by carefully choosing the right accessory.
