In a duel between two traditional clubs, 1. FC Nürnberg scored the winning goal late on Friday evening (September 9th, 2022) against Arminia Bielefeld.
A goal from Nuremberg’s Kwadwo Duah (52nd) was not recognized by the video assistant due to a narrow offside position by setter Felix Lohkemper. The Swiss missed another top-class goal chance in the largely poor game in the 70th free-standing with a powerful shot over the goal of the guests. But very late, Lino Tempelmann redeemed the “clubbers” with a header after a free kick by Mats Möller Daehli (90th).
