Myanmar’s deposed government leader Aung San Suu Kyi was sentenced to seven years in prison on Friday in the eighteen-month long corruption trial against her. The court found the 77-year-old Nobel Prize winner guilty of all five remaining charges, a source with knowledge of the case reported to the French news agency AFP.
