Yesterday, Thursday (March 24), Depeche Mode celebrated the start of the “Memento Mori” tour in Sacramento, California. The first concert tour without Andy Fletcher. And yet the keyboardist, who died last year, was always present. In “World In My Eyes”, for example, Fletch’s favorite song, he was shown on the screens.
The gig offered 23 songs, the oldest being “Everything Counts”, and there were also two surprises from the back catalogue, “Sister of Night” and “Waiting for the Night”. Five songs from “Memento Mori” were played.
