The 12” single box set from their 2009 album SOUNDS OF THE UNIVERSE will be released on August 4th.
Depeche Mode continue the release series of maxi singles from their albums: On August 4th the 12″ single box set for their work SOUNDS OF THE UNIVERSE from 2009 will be released. As with the box sets that have already been released, some of the individual 12-inch discs consist not only of the CD singles of the time, but also of remixes.
The singles from SOUNDS OF THE UNIVERSE were “Wrong”, “Peace” and the double A-side “Fragile Tension” / “Hole To Feed”. The price for the box set is currently between 142 euros and 207 euros and can can be pre-ordered from now on.
Depeche Mode started four years ago by releasing the singles for each of their studio albums in a collector’s box. Most recently, the band released the box set for the 2005 album PLAYING THE ANGEL in November 2022.
On Tuesday evening (June 6th) Depeche Mode played their second concert in the Düsseldorf Arena. The British band, consisting of Dave Gahan and Martin Gore, performed in the Merkur Spiel-Arena on Sunday. In addition to new songs from the current album MEMENTO MORI, there were also classics such as “Enjoy the Silence” and “Personal Jesus”. More tour dates for Germany can be found here.
